Royals caravan launches Jan. 28, going in three directions
The Royals caravan is gassed up and ready to roll next week, and this one can wave an American League flag.
Groups head out in three directions, starting next Wednesday.
The gold caravan, which includes pitcher Brandon Finnegan, outfielder Lane Adams, Royals Hall of Fame pitcher Jeff Montgomery, broadcaster Joel Goldberg, and Sluggerrr, will kick things off at 11 a.m., in Ottawa, Kan., at Sears Hometown Store.
The white caravan of pitcher Louis Coleman, infielder Christian Colon, team Hall of Fame first baseman John Mayberry and broadcaster Steve Physioc begin their journey at 3 p.m., in Jefferson City, Mo., at the YMCA.
The blue caravan begins in Olathe at Academy Sports at 7 p.m., and includes outfielder Terrance Gore and Hall of Fame outfielder Willie Wilson.
The Royals Fan Fest is Jan. 30-31 in Bartle Hall at the Kansas City Convention Center. Go to kansascity.royals.mlb.com for more information.
