Royals top prospects: Kyle Zimmer to resume throwing Monday
Suffice to say, Kyle Zimmer won’t be suffering from a case of the Mondays.
Zimmer, who has been out since late May with a strained latissimus dorsi muscle, will begin throwing Monday in Arizona. The Royals say the best case scenario is that Zimmer, the Royals’ first pick in the 2012 draft, would pitch in one-inning outings in the minor leagues late in the season.
