Video: Alex Gordon talks about his injured wrist

Alex Gordon says he’s disappointed he won’t get to play in the All-Star Game next week in Minnesota but told reporters Thursday in Kansas City that “the most important thing is to be ready for our games.”

Gordon will not be taking part in the All-Star game because of a wrist sprain, although he will be making the trip to Target Field in Minnesota. He was not placed on the disabled list.
