Royals add Jayson Nix, take Christian Colon off World Series roster
The Royals announced their 25-man World Series roster Tuesday morning, but with one change from their Division and League Championship Series lineups:
In the infield, Jayson Nix is in and Christian Colon is out. Colon made two plate appearances in the AL Wild Card Game, scoring the winning run and appeared at second base in the ninth inning of game two of the ALCS. Nix also appeared in the wild-card game but was left of the ALDS and ALCS rosters.
Nix was two for eight with a double in six AL playoff games with the Yankees in 2012.
