How to watch multiple KC Royals games this week, including Spring Breakout
As opening day creeps closer, Royals players will begin ramping up their work.
For pitchers, that means longer outings in spring-training games. Batters will play longer, too.
And Royals broadcasters will be getting more work.
This week will be the first time two Royals games will be televised/streamed from Arizona.
Friday’s game against the Angels will be on FanDuel Sports Kansas City (FDSKC), so it’ll be available for people who have cable or can stream via the app. It starts at 3:10 p.m. Central Time.
The Royals-Guardians contest on Saturday also will be on the FDSKC. That game, which will feature a Royals split squad, also begins at 3:10 p.m.
Unfortunately, fans in Kansas City will see the Royals game being hyped by Major League Baseball on a tape-delay basis only.
The Spring Breakout games featuring top minor-league players on MLB teams will be held on Thursday and Friday. The Royals play at the Diamondbacks on Friday as part of the showcase, and that game will be on tape delay on the MLB Network on Saturday at 8 a.m.
The game will be streamed live (blackout free) on the At-Bat app and will be available in Kansas City. However, it won’t be on FDSKC or MLB-TV as it’s being played — only on the league’s app.
