Sitting in a dugout at Kauffman Stadium isn’t an unfamiliar feeling for Houston Astros manager A.J. Hinch.
Hinch played two of his seven MLB seasons in Kansas City, appearing in 117 games for the Royals. He hit .214 with 13 home runs and 42 RBIs in 2001-2.
“I loved my time here,” Hinch said.
“This isn’t my first time coming back but it’s always nice seeing some familiar faces in the clubhouse and around the ballpark.”
