Poll: Which Royals photo would you like to see as a souvenir poster in Sunday’s Star?

The Star is publishing occasional souvenir posters on select Sundays of your favorite Royals as photographed by our award-winning staffers.

But we need your help.

We’d like you, our readers, to vote for the Royal you’d like to see featured this Sunday, July 12. Our last poster, on Sunday, June 28, featured third baseman Mike Moustakas getting a postgame Gatorade bath.

This week, we’ve got four options based on the play of the team over the past few weeks:

▪ Outfielder Lorenzo Cain, who’ll join Alex Gordon in the AL outfield for Tuesday’s All-Star Game;

▪ Shortstop Alcides Escobar, who’s been one of the club’s hottest hitters of late;

▪ First baseman Eric Hosmer, who had the winning hit Sunday against the Minnesota Twins;

▪ Pitcher Edinson Volquez, who leads the Royals with eight wins and 73 strikeouts.
