The Kansas City Royals’ series-opening game against the Orioles on Friday night in Baltimore was postponed because of rain.

The game will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader starting at 12:35 p.m. Central time Sunday. The teams are scheduled to play next at 6:05 p.m. Saturday but rain remains in the forecast.

Carlos Hernandez is projected to start Saturday’s game for the Royals, followed by Daniel Lynch in the first game Sunday and Zack Greinke in the second.
