Kansas City Royals announce Opening Day roster and lineup for game against Cleveland

The Kansas City Royals announced their Opening Day roster and lineup before Thursday’s 3:10 p.m. first pitch against the Cleveland Guardians at Kauffman Stadium.

The Royals added Bobby Witt Jr. to the 40-man roster, placed right-handed pitcher Joel Payamps on the Family Medical Emergency List and designated left-handed pitcher Daniel Tillo for assignment.
