Poll: Which Royals photo would you like to see as a souvenir poster in Sunday’s Star?

The Star is publishing occasional souvenir posters on select Sundays of your favorite Royals as photographed by our award-winning staffers.

But we need your help.

We’d like you, our readers, to vote for the Royal you’d like to see featured this Sunday, June 28. Our last poster, on Sunday, June 14, featured catcher Salvador Perez.

This week, we’ve got four options based on the play of the team over the past few weeks:

▪ Outfielder Lorenzo Cain, who hit homers on successive days for only the second time in his career, on June 15 and 16 against the Brewers, and is on pace for career-highs in home runs and RBIs.

▪ Shortstop Alcides Escobar, who’s hitting .417 (15 for 36) with nine RBIs in his last nine games.

▪ Third baseman Mike Moustakas, who’s hitting .370 (20 for 54) with a home run, four doubles and 10 RBIs in his last 14 games.

▪ Manager Ned Yost, who became the franchise’s career leader in managerial victories with 411 when the Royals beat the Brewers on June 19 at Kauffman Stadium.

Oh, and all four are in line to appear at the All-Star Game next month. Yost will be the American League manager, Escobar and Moustakas lead the AL All-Star voting at their positions, and Cain would start in the outfield based on the latest totals.
