Royals pitchers Danny Duffy and Kris Medlen slated for bullpen sessions
Two rehabbing Royals starting pitchers will throw bullpen sessions this weekend.
Left-hander Danny Duffy (left biceps tendinitis) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Saturday, while right-hander Kris Medlen (elbow) is expected to throw one Sunday.
Medlen will return to Arizona for extended spring training after the homestand, where he’ll continue to build his pitch count and stamina, Royals manager Ned Yost said.
