Replay: Photos, videos from the Royals’ ‘Take the Crown’ rally at Kauffman Stadium

Fans showed up in royal fashion for the “Take the Crown” rally at Kauffman Stadium, which allowed attendees to hear commentary from Ned Yost, George Brett and Dayton Moore before batting practice began.

Groundskeepers perfected the “postseason” logo on the field as fans of all ages filled the stadium’s seats. The large crowd, most in blue and white, cheered and stood to their feet as the team took the field to stretch.

“No doubt, it’s very special,” Royals general manager Dayton Moore said of the team’s season.
