According to Nielsen Media Research, the Royals’ 4-2 win over the A’s received a 14.6 household rating in Kansas City, topping the previous FSKC Royals telecast record of 13.6 for the playoff-clinching win against the White Sox last September.

Previously, the most highly rated event in FSKC’s history was the Kansas-Missouri football game at Arrowhead Stadium on Nov. 29, 2008, which had a rating of 14.0.
