The Royals recalled outfielder Terrance Gore from Class AA Northwest Arkansas before their 7:10 p.m. Wednesday game against the Twins.

Gore, who will wear No. 0 and will be available for the game, takes the roster spot of Alex Rios, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list because of a broken left pinky finger.
