The Royals ended Cleveland’s winning streak. Eric Hosmer was very excited
The Royals edged the Cleveland Indians 4-3 on Friday night, snapping a 22-game winning streak that represented the longest since 1916.
It was, as you might expect, an emotional victory. Some of the adrenaline flowed into the postgame handshake line.

This is first baseman Eric Hosmer slapping hands with center fielder Lorenzo Cain — who was 3 for 4 with an RBI single in the sixth — and appearing to offer some commentary on the Indians’ winning streak.
Hosmer also finished with an RBI single. The Royals (73-74) will face the Indians (91-57) again at 3:10 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
