Fans looking for an alternate way to get to The K shouldn’t overlook the Metro bus service.

The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority Metro’s 47-Broadway bus has stops near Kauffman Stadium.

The closest stops to the stadium for the eastbound 47-Broadway are northbound Blue Ridge Cutoff at 40th Terrace, near the Taco Bell, and northbound Blue Ridge Cutoff at 41st Street, outside of ITT Tech.

The closest stop for westbound 47-Broadway is on southbound Blue Ridge Cutoff between 41st Terrace and Stadium Entrance D Drive.

During the week, the bus runs about every 45 minutes during the late morning hours, every 30 minutes during rush hour and about every hour at night.

The fare is $1.50 each way, or people can get a $3 day pass.
