SCHOOL: Liberty

YEAR: Senior

SPORT: Basketball

Franklin led the Blue Jays to the Truman High School tournament championship last week with 17.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per contest over three games. Liberty knocked off Lee's Summit, nationally-ranked Rock Bridge and Shawnee Mission Northwest en route to the title. Franklin shot 71 percent from the field and 80 percent from the free-throw line during the three games.

SCHOOL: Basehor-Linwood

YEAR: Senior

SPORT: Basketball

Muldoon averaged 21.3 points across three victories to lead the Bobcats to the Basehor-Linwood Invitational boys basketball tournament title. The Bobcats defeated St. Joseph Benton, Ottawa and Park Hill in the title game. For the season, he is averaging 20.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He’s also shooting 61 percent from the floor.
