SCHOOL: Lee’s Summit West
YEAR: Sophomore
SPORT: Track
Kelby cruised to victories in the shot put and discus throws at the Missouri Class 5, Sectional 4 meet on Saturday. Her discus toss of 163 feet, 6 inches was not only 30 feet farther than second place, it was the best mark in the state this season.

Noah Green
SCHOOL: Blue Valley Southwest
YEAR: Sophomore
SPORT: Track
Green won three individual events at his Kansas Class 5A regional meet Friday — all of them by significant margins. He claimed gold medals in the 110-meter hurdles, 300 hurdles and long jump. His 300 hurdles time of 37.04 seconds is the fastest time in the state this season.
