SPORT: Track and field
Schaeffer rolled to victory in the 300-meter hurdles at the Bishop Miege Invitational last Friday, crossing the finish line in 46.61 seconds. That’s the best time recorded in that event in Kansas this season.

Denvoir Griffin
SCHOOL: Bishop Miege
YEAR: Senior
SPORT: Track and field
Griffin, the defending Kansas Class 4A 100-meter champion, won the two sprint races — the 100 and 200-meter dashes — at the Bishop Miege Invitational last Friday. His time of 21.97 seconds in the 200 is the fastest time recorded in the state this year.
