YEAR: Senior

SPORT: Soccer

Small was named most valuable player of the Mo-Kan Challenge after helping St. Teresa’s win the tournament. Small, a center back, played a key role in the Stars allowing only one goal in three matches, and she converted a penalty kick in a shootout win against Notre Dame de Sion in the title match.

Sam Parrott

SCHOOL: Liberty

YEAR: Junior

SPORT: Golf

Parrott was the lone golfer under par last week at the Winnetonka Tournament, when he shot a 5-under 66 at Hodge Park Golf Club. His six-shot victory propelled Liberty to first place in the team standings in the nine-team field. A day later, Parrott was 3-under par over nine holes in a meet against Fort Osage.
