YEAR: Junior

SPORT: Basketball

In wins against Oak Grove and Pleasant Hill last week, Bailey totaled 53 points while shooting 64.3 percent from the floor. A sharp-shooting guard, Bailey made seven of 14 three-pointers over the two-game stretch, adding eight rebounds.

Emmanuel Browne

SCHOOL: Sumner Academy

YEAR: Senior

SPORT: Wrestling

Browne won the Kansas Class 4A 126-pound state title to become the first two-time wrestling state champion in Sumner Academy history. After winning four matches at the Class 4A tournament, he finished his senior season 41-2. He broke the school’s single-season and career takedowns records.
