Watch: Liberty North senior Michael Hughes makes SportsCenter after draining 75-foot shot
Liberty North senior Michael Hughes made a point last summer to accompany his low-post game with an improved three-point shot.
But this is a little extreme.
With the clock winding down in the first half of Liberty North's 74-62 win Friday against Fort Osage, Hughes nailed a three-pointer from his own free-throw line.
The play was No. 2 on SportsCenter's nightly Top Ten segment Friday.

"I knew I didn't have much time," Hughes said. "I just grabbed the ball and threw it the other way."
Hughes finished with a game-high 18 points for the Eagles, who improved to 18-3 and remained perfect in Suburban White Conference play.
