YEAR: Junior
SPORT: Basketball
Cook piloted O’Hara to the Grain Valley Sonic Showdown championship last week. She averaged 17.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.4 steals during the tournament, when the Celtics beat Pleasant Hill, Raymore-Peculiar and Grain Valley.

Zach Thornhill
SCHOOL: St. James Academy
YEAR: Junior
SPORT: Basketball
A 6-foot-4 guard, Thornhill scored 54 points across two games last week for the Thunder. He scored a team-best 19 points in a loss to Barstow and produced 35 points in a victory over Sumner Academy. He set a school record with 37 in a game earlier this season.
