The Star’s high school fall sports athletes of the week (Nov. 18)

Orie Agbaji

SCHOOL: Oak Park

YEAR: Senior

SPORT: Volleyball

A day after signing with Texas, Agbaji was honored last week as the 12th recipient of the Evelyn Gates Award, presented annually to the top volleyball player in the Kansas City area. Agbaji had 364 kills and 80 blocks for Oak Park during the fall season.

Keaton Schieffer

SCHOOL: Rockhurst

YEAR: Senior

SPORT: Soccer

Schieffer, a midfielder, scored the only goal in Rockhurst’s 1-0 win against Nixa in the Missouri Class 4 third-place match last Saturday. Schieffer has committed to play soccer at St. Louis University.
