Kentrez Bell caught the go-ahead score with 2:02 left in Park Hill’s district-championship win against Staley.

The Jaguars scored 28 first-quarter points and cruised to a first-round shutout against Leavenworth.

The Lancers have won five consecutive games since a loss to Lawrence Free State.

9. St. Thomas Aquinas ... 8-2 ... Friday at St. James Academy

The Saints will play St. James on neutral ground at the College Boulevard Activity Center.

The Mustangs’ season ended in a shootout with fellow ranked team Olathe North last week.

1. Harrisonville ... 12-0 ... Friday at Webb City

Webb City defeated Harrisonville 35-0 last year on its way to a fifth straight Missouri Class 4 title.

2. Bishop Miege ... 9-1 ... Friday vs. Paola

The Kansas Class 4A Division I defending state champion has outscored its last two opponents 136-12.

3. Kearney ... 11-1 ... Saturday at Hannibal

Quarterback Logan Hinck and tailback Marcus Harris ran for two touchdowns each in last week’s win.

4. Odessa ... 11-1 ... Friday vs. Maryville

The Bulldogs knocked out Missouri Class 3 defending champion Oak Grove last week.

5. Paola ... 9-1 ... Friday at Bishop Miege

The Panthers avenged their only loss of the season with a victory against De Soto last week.
