Suburban Gold Conference

1. Blue Springs South (12-0, 5-0)

Beat Francis Howell 46-28; Fri. at Kirkwood

The Jaguars ran for 379 yards (7.9 yards per attempt) to avenge a loss against Francis Howell in last year’s postseason.

2. Blue Springs (6-6, 4-1)

Lost to Kickapoo 45-31; Season over

Three sophomores scored in the loss for the Wildcats, who made the Missouri Class 6 quarterfinals after starting the season 0-4.

Beat Staley 27-16; Fri. vs. Fort Osage

Quarterback Billy Maples found senior wideout Kentrez Bell for the game-winning 16-yard touchdown with 2:02 left.

2. Truman (8-3, 4-1)

Lost to Fort Osage 33-20; Season over

Dean Clemons threw for two touchdowns for the Patriots, who won 14 games over the last two seasons after winning only one total from 2012-13.

Isaiah Iloilo ran for 130 yards and two touchdowns — both of them before halftime — to lift the Indians to another district championship.

2. Staley (9-2, 5-1)

Lost to Park Hill 27-16; Season over

The Falcons took a late fourth-quarter lead when Beau Baker hauled in a 20-yard touchdown catch, but they were undone by Park Hill’s ensuing offensive drive.

Quarterback Logan Hinck and tailback Marcus Harris each topped 100 rushing yards, and they each found the end zone twice.

2. Belton (8-4, 4-1)

Lost to Carthage 49-28; Season over

The Pirates led by one point at halftime against one-loss Carthage, but they were shut out over the second half.

3. Platte County (8-4, 2-3)

Lost to Kearney 43-3; Season over

The Pirates managed only 1.7 yards per carry Friday in the loss. They still finished with eight-plus wins for the third time in four seasons.

4. Grandview (6-5, 3-2)
