Here’s the Suburban Conference Week 10 high school football review, including team’s overall record, conference record, last week’s result, this week’s opponent and a comment. The Missouri high school football district playoffs start this week.

Suburban Gold Conference

1. Blue Springs South (10-0, 5-0)

Beat Troy Buchanan 56-0; Fri. vs. Jefferson City

Seven different players scored for the Jaguars in the rout.

2. Blue Springs (5-5, 4-1)

Beat Joplin 24-20; Fri. at Raymore-Peculiar

Tresten Spruell ran for two touchdowns, and the Wildcats held Joplin scoreless in the second half.

3. Raymore-Peculiar (6-4, 2-3)

Beat Rockhurst 24-21; Fri. vs. Blue Springs

Kory Linaweaver threw a game-winning touchdown to Cole Kruse in the fourth quarter.

4. Lee’s Summit West (6-4, 1-4)

Beat Lee’s Summit North 34-14; Fri. at Kickapoo

The Titans forced five turnovers, including three interceptions.

5. Lee’s Summit North (5-5, 2-3)

Lost to Lee’s Summit West 34-14; Season over

A once promising season ended with four straight losses.

6. Lee’s Summit (3-7, 1-4)

Lost to Kickapoo 30-26; Season over

After a 3-1 start, the Tigers lost six straight — four of them by one possession.

Suburban Red Conference

1. Park Hill (9-1, 5-0)

Beat Oak Park 41-7; Fri. vs. Liberty North

Dorian Clayton had touchdown runs of 40 and 25 yards in the first half.

2. Truman (7-2, 4-1)

Bye;Fri. vs. William Chrisman

The Patriots used a late two-point conversion stop to beat William Chrisman earlier this month.

3. St. Joseph Central (4-6, 2-3)

Beat Liberty 49-14; Fri. at Staley

Israel Smith ran for four touchdowns in the blowout.

4. Liberty (3-7, 3-2)

Lost to St. Joseph Central 49-14; Season over

After three straight wins, the Blue Jays fell behind 49-7 before halftime.

5. Park Hill South (2-8, 2-3)

Lost to Liberty North 28-16; Season over

The Panthers flirted with an upset, trailing by only one after three quarters.

6. Ruskin (0-10, 0-5)

Lost to Neosho 42-0; Season over

The Golden Eagles will take a program 18-game losing skid into next season.

Suburban White Conference

1. Staley (8-1, 5-1)

Bye; Fri. vs. St. Joseph Central

The Falcons will take a four-game winning streak into their first playoff game.

2. Liberty North (8-2, 5-1)

Beat Park Hill South 28-16; Fri. at Park Hill

Devon Davis scored on a 1-yard run and a 10-yard pass reception.

3. Fort Osage (8-1, 5-1)

Bye;Fri. vs. Raytown

After a bye week, the Indians will take on Raytown, a team they defeated 55-14 only two weeks ago.

4. Raytown (4-6, 2-4)

Beat North Kansas City 14-12; Fri. at Fort Osage

After failing to beat North Kansas City since 2001, Raytown did it twice in a month.

5. William Chrisman (4-6, 2-4)

Beat Winnetonka 48-13; Fri. at Truman

The Bears’ best offensive output of the season earned them a rematch with their rivals.

6. Oak Park (1-9, 1-5)

Lost to Park Hill 41-7; Season over

The Northmen allowed 40-plus points in five of the final six weeks.

7. North Kansas City (2-8, 1-5)

Lost to Raytown 14-12; Season over

A failed two-point conversion prevented the Hornets from forcing overtime.

Suburban Blue Conference

1. Kearney (9-1, 5-0)

Beat Excelsior Springs 59-14; Fri. vs. Savannah

Marcus Harris scored five times, including once on a kickoff return.

2. Belton (7-3, 4-1)

Beat Willard 48-24; Fri. at Smith-Cotton

It was another big week for Zach Willis, who ran for four touchdowns.

3. Grandview (6-4, 3-2)

Beat Warrensburg 65-36; Fri. at Center

The Bulldogs have won four of five in a turnaround season.

4. Platte County (7-3, 2-3)

Beat Benton 42-34; Fri. at Smithville

A 28-point third quarter lifted the Pirates to a playoff win.

5. Raytown South (4-6, 1-4)

Beat Grain Valley 32-7; Fri. at Harrisonville

Senior quarterback Jabril Cox threw for two scores and ran for another.

6. Winnetonka (1-9, 0-5)

Lost to William Chrisman 48-13; Season over

After 30 wins over the previous four seasons, the Griffins never found any momentum in 2015.
