Seven different players were involved with touchdown drives for the Stags.
2. Blue Valley North (6-1, 5-1)
Beat Shawnee Mission South 48-0; Thurs. vs. Shawnee Mission Northwest
Joey Dolan connected with Alex Blake for four of his five touchdown passes.
3. St. Thomas Aquinas (5-2, 4-1)
Beat Blue Valley Southwest 70-7; Fri. vs. Blue Valley West
Eight different players scored touchdowns for the Saints. Karter Odermann led with three.
4. Blue Valley (5-2, 3-2)
Beat Gardner Edgerton 35-7; Fri. at Olathe South
The Tigers gave up the first points of the game, but responded with five straight touchdowns.
5. Blue Valley West (2-5, 2-3)
Lost to Pittsburg 56-13; Fri. at St. Thomas Aquinas
Nathan Wiles was a bright spot in the Jaguars’ loss, passing for two touchdowns.

Lost to St. Thomas Aquinas 70-7; Fri. vs. Pittsburg
The Timberwolves have been held to 14 or fewer points in each of their losses this season.
7. Gardner Edgerton (1-6, 1-4)

The Trailblazers have lost four in a row, since topping Blue Valley Southwest for their first win.

The Huskies picked up their first victory of the season with their highest scoring game.

1. Lawrence (7-0, 5-0)
Beat Olathe Northwest 35-7; Fri. vs. Olathe North
Two of JD Woods’ three rushing touchdowns came on runs that were 45 or more yards.
2. Olathe North (7-0, 5-0)
Beat Olathe East 53-27; Fri. at Lawrence
The Eagles have scored 30 points or more in all but one game and have only allowed 30 just once.
3. Shawnee Mission West (6-1, 5-1)
Beat Shawnee Mission Northwest 45-6; Fri. at Shawnee Mission South
Vikings’ kicker Josh Compton had a 48-yard interception return, a field goal and six extra points.

The Lancers’ defense picked up its third shutout of the season to start district play.

The Ravens dug themselves a hole by giving up four consecutive touchdowns to start the game.

Beat Washburn Rural 35-7; Fri. vs. Manhattan
The Firebirds have won four consecutive games and held opponents to single digits in three.
7. Olathe East (3-4, 3-2)
Lost to Olathe North 53-27; Fri. at Olathe Northwest
The Hawks have lost back-to-back games for the second time this season.
8. Shawnee Mission North (2-5, 1-5)
Beat Wyandotte 49-30; Fri. vs. Harmon
The Indians snapped a five-game losing streak that dated back to the second week of the season.

Christian Jegen scored three rushing touchdowns and Logan Koch added three through the air.

Lost to Mill Valley 45-14; Fri. at Turner
The Thunder built up a 14-10 lead, but suffered their first loss of the season to Mill Valley.
3. De Soto (5-2, 2-1)
Beat Baldwin 29-16; Fri. vs. Eudora
The Wildcats have found some consistency on offense, scoring 27, 28 and 29 points in their last three games.
4. Spring Hill (1-6, 1-4)
Lost to Bishop Miege 67-14; Thurs. at Sumner Academy
In Friday’s loss, the Broncos gave up nine consecutive touchdowns to Bishop Miege.
5. Immaculata/Maranatha (0-6)
Did not play; Fri. vs. Jefferson County North
The team had an extra week to prepare for district games and is still looking for its first victory.
