A month before Barstow senior Jeriah Horne embarks on his final high school basketball season, he firmed up his college plans.

Horne committed to Nebraska on Thursday, using Twitter to make the announcement.

The leader of Barstow's “Big Three” last season, Horne led the Knights to the Missouri Class 3 state title in March. A 6-foot-7 forward, Horne averaged 20.1 points and 10 rebounds per game as a junior and was on The Star’s All-Metro boys basketball first team.

Horne is ranked No. 129 on Rivals for the Class of 2016. On Wednesday, he listed Kansas State, Wichita State, Pepperdine and DePaul as finalists for his college choice.
