New site announced for Marcus Walker All-American hoops game

The site of the Marcus Walker High School All-American Game, an event scheduled for Saturday night and put on by Grind House Basketball, has changed.

The new site is the Interscholastic League Fieldhouse at 3500 E. Meyer Blvd. in Kansas City. It was originally scheduled to be played at Lee’s Summit High School.

The doors will open at 6 p.m. on Saturday and a dunk contest at 6:30 p.m. will precede the all-star game, which begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission to the event is $15.

Walker is a former O’Hara High School basketball star and two-time DiRenna Award winner as the top high school player in Kansas City.
