Missouri: Cole Kruse
SCHOOL: Raymore-Peculiar
YEAR: Senior
Only two players caught passes for Raymore-Peculiar in its 26-22 win last Friday against Liberty, but one of them did more than enough damage. Kruse hauled in 11 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns, helping the Panthers improve to 2-1.

Kansas: Nathan Staats
SCHOOL: Paola
YEAR: Senior
Staats ran the ball 17 times for 296 yards and seven touchdowns in the Panthers’ 60-25 season-opening victory last week against Spring Hill. He scored the team’s first six touchdowns and broke school records for rushing yards and touchdowns in a single game.
