Younger scored 28 points against Piper on Feb. 25 and then shot 11 for 14 from three-point range and scored 42 points against Mill Valley on Feb. 27. Younger is averaging 19.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game while shooting 51 percent from the field and has made 54 of his 108 three-point attempts.
Alanna Dierking• SCHOOL:St. James Academy
• YEAR:Sophomore
• SPORT:Bowling
Dierking has bowled in eight meets this season. She’s won six of them. Her most recent victory came Saturday at the Kansas 5A-1A regional meet in Emporia, where she bowled a 653 series. Dierking will compete at the state meet Friday in Wichita.
