Four-star recruit Swain picks Oregon
Sunday evening, Olathe North linebacker Jimmie Swain announced that he will play college ball at the University of Oregon. The announcement came on Fox Sports 1 during the second quarter of the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl.
Swain, a four-star prospect according to ESPN and Scout.com, led Olathe North with 92 tackles and 11 for loss this season. The Eagles finished the year with a 7-4 record and loss in the state sectionals.
Prior to announcing his decision, he narrowed his choices to Oregon and Texas A&M. Swain is the 17th player to commit to Oregon’s class of 2014 and the only linebacker.
