SCHOOL: St. Thomas Aquinas
YEAR: Senior
SPORT: Soccer
Johnston led the Saints to back-to-back overtime victories with golden goals. The first came in a 2-1 victory against Washburn Rural, who is ranked first in the state, and the second was a 2-1 victory against Blue Valley Southwest, who is ranked fifth. He now has three goals this season.

Bailey Baird
SCHOOL: Lee's Summit
YEAR: Senior
SPORT: Softball
In a 13-0 sectional win against Liberty North on Saturday, Baird hit two home runs and drove in five runs to help the Tigers advance to the Missouri Class 4 state tournament a year after they won the title. Baird, a Central Missouri commit, leads the team with a .439 average, eight home runs, 28 RBI, 29 runs scored and 13 stolen bases this season.
