Raymore-Peculiar won the 2025 Missouri fall high school state championship on Friday in Springfield, beating Rock Bridge of Columbia 6-4 in nine innings.

Ray-Pec (25-5), which scored twice in the top of the ninth to break a 4-all deadlock and claim the crown, reached the 2025 MSHSAA championship game at Meador Park with a 9-1 blowout of Lindberg.

Rock Bridge (27-11) had edged Grain Valley 8-6 in the semifinals to advance to the final. After falling to Ray-Pec, Lindberg blanked Grain Valley 5-0 on Friday to take third place in the tournament.

It’s been a great autumn for girls sports at Ray-Pec — the Panthers last week earned the Missouri Class 4 girls golf championship at Sedalia Country Club in Sedalia.

Kearney (31-6) was not as fortunate in Friday’s Class 4 championship game in Springfield.

The Bulldogs broke a scoreless stalemate atop the sixth when Kennedi Casey doubled home a run. But Father Tolton (32-5) tied it 1-1 in the bottom of the frame and then walked off Kearney 2-1 in the seventh.
