Kansas City area high school football teams wrapped up the regular season Friday, Oct. 25, and now have their sights set on district playoffs. Win or loss, a few schools ended the season with standout games from their star players.

You can now vote on the best performance from the final week of the regular season.

The Star is holding a weekly poll for readers to vote for their favorite student-athlete. The poll will be posted online each Wednesday, with voting open until Thursday night. The winner is announced each Friday.

To put together the poll, The Star asks high school football coaches around the metro for their nominations and looks at statistics posted by schools on high school sports websites like 810 Varsity and MaxPreps. The Week 7 winner was Olathe South High School senior Max Armstrong.
