Olathe Northwest sweeps Kansas 6A girls state tennis championships: Results & winners

It was an Olathe Northwest sweep atop the Kansas Class 6A girls state tennis championships held Friday and Saturday at Harmon Park Tennis Complex in Prairie Village.

The Ravens’ Mithila Dixit defeated Blue Valley North’s Shelby Smith for the individual state title, while the doubles team of Hannah Carney and Riley Terhune defeated BV West’s Aashritha Musti and Chandana Vijaykumar for another first-place finish.

Rounding out the Class 6A top 5:

(Tied) 4. Blue Valley Northwest

Blue Valley finished in sixth, just a single point behind BV Northwest and West.
