SUBURBAN GOLD CONFERENCE

1. Raymore-Peculiar (5-2, 2-1)

Last week: Defeated Blue Springs 31-13

Tailback Isaiah Truss had three touchdowns in the upset, giving him 17 for the season.

2. Lee's Summit West (6-1, 2-1)

Last week: Defeated Blue Springs South 23-13

The Titans put together their best defensive effort of the season for a bounce-back win.

3. Blue Springs (4-3, 2-1)

Last week: Lost to Raymore-Peculiar 31-13

The Wildcats need a win against Lee's Summit West to move back into the conference title race.

4. Lee's Summit (4-3, 2-1)

Last week: Lost to Park Hill 44-33

Despite scoring 28 points for the seventh straight week, the Tigers suffered their third loss.

5. Blue Springs South (2-5, 1-2)

Last week: Lost to Lee's Summit West 23-13

The Jaguars have been more competitive recently than their record might indicate.

6. Lee's Summit North (1-6, 0-3)

Last week: Lost to Battle 37-7

After it appeared the offense was finding its footing, the Broncos have scored only 13 points in two weeks.

SUBURBAN RED CONFERENCE

1. Park Hill (7-0, 3-0)

Last week: Defeated Lee's Summit 44-33

The Trojans picked up their biggest win of a breakthrough season against state-ranked Lee's Summit.

2. Truman (4-3, 3-1)

Last week: Defeated Marshall 37-22

With two weeks remaining, the Patriots control their own destiny toward winning a conference title.

3. Park Hill South (2-5, 1-2)

Last week: Lost to Liberty 24-21

The Panthers fell behind 24-0, and a subsequent comeback effort fell just short.

4. St. Joseph Central (2-5, 2-1)

Last week: Defeated Ruskin 30-24

The Indians offense is starting to find its groove for the stretch run. Is it too late?

5. Liberty (1-6, 1-3)

Last week: Defeated Park Hill South 24-21

2. Staley (5-2, 3-1)

Last week: Defeated Mill Valley 35-0

After giving up 39 points in an opening-week loss, Staley has allowed only 14 points per game.

3. Liberty North (5-2, 3-1)

Last week: Defeated William Chrisman 42-7

The Eagles have outscored three opponents 125-13 since dropping back-to-back games.

4. Raytown (2-5, 2-3)

Last week: Lost to North Kansas City 14-7

A disappointing conference loss precedes daunting matchups with Staley and Fort Osage.

2. Kearney (6-1, 2-1)

Last week: Defeated Platte County 52-6

After losing its first game of the year, Kearney responded by pulling even for the conference lead.

3. Platte County (6-1, 2-1)

Last week: Lost to Kearney 52-6

The Pirates' unbeaten run is over, but they can still share a conference championship.

4. Raytown South (5-2, 2-1)

Last week: Defeated Belton 40-21

Quarterback Jabril Cox threw for three touchdowns and ran for two more in the victory.

Last week: Lost to Raytown South 40-21

Zach Willis topped 100 yards and ran for three scores in a losing effort last week.

The Bulldogs simply can't find enough success through the air to keep defenses honest.
