SCHOOL: Fort Osage

YEAR: Senior

After playing wide receiver the past three seasons, McBee is making the transition to the backfield look easy. He ran for 225 yards and three touchdowns in a win against William Chrisman last week. He also caught another touchdown. Through six games, McBee leads the state's top-ranked team in both rushing and receiving. He has 13 touchdowns.

Kansas: Juwan Potts

SCHOOL: Leavenworth

YEAR: Senior

Potts returned a pair of kickoffs for touchdowns last week — one 94 yards and the other 95 yards — and scored another touchdown on offense with a 29-yard pass reception from Landry Hodges in the Pioneers’ 35-21 victory over Lawrence Free State. On defense, Potts had six solo tackles, two pass breakups and an interception. He return3ed that pickoff 63 yards.
