SCHOOL: Raytown South

YEAR: Junior

SPORT: Track and field

Hall blistered the track in three events last Saturday at the Missouri Class 4, Sectional 4 meet, winning the 200-meter dash (22.09 seconds), 400-meter dash (48.54 seconds) and 300-meter hurdles (38.80 seconds). He will take a top seed into the races this weekend at the Missouri Class 4 state meet.

Emily Downey

SCHOOL: St. Thomas Aquinas

YEAR: Senior

SPORT: Track and Field

Downey led the Saints to a second-place finish at the Kansas Class 5A regional meet at Blue Valley West with a pair of championships in the 1,600-meter run and 3,200-meter run. She finished the 1,600 in 5 minutes, 9.03 seconds and the 3,200 in 11 minutes, 16.47 seconds. She is the No. 1 seed in both races at this weekend’s state meet.
