The Star’s high school football players of the week (Sept. 18)
Missouri: Beau Baker
SCHOOL: Staley
YEAR: Junior
While Baker is listed as a quarterback, it's his legs that make him a dangerous weapon. He ran for three touchdowns last Friday in a 28-17 victory against Liberty North — a game in which Staley trailed 17-0 deep into the third quarter. Baker leads the Falcons with five touchdown runs this season.
