Memorial service for high school coaching icon Bud Lathrop set for Saturday

A memorial service for Kansas City-area high school coaching icon Bud Lathrop will be held Saturday at Raytown South.

The service will begin at 1 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.

Lathrop died last week. He coached boys basketball at Raytown South for 45 years, winning 35 conference titles and four Missouri state championships.
