Just 3 weeks left in regular season? Yep, and here are the new Missouri football rankings

With three weeks left in the Missouri high school football regular season, a pair of Kansas City-area teams have finally been rewarded for their unbeaten records.

Smithville is the newest entrant in the Missouri Class 4 state media poll, checking in at No. 9. The Warriors have smothered their first six opponents, outscoring them by a combined score of 243-40.

Hogan Prep made its first appearance in the Class 3 rankings, occupying the 10th and final spot. The Rams have allowed 28 points over their last five wins.
