SUBURBAN GOLD CONFERENCE
1. Lee's Summit West (2-0, 0-0)
Last week: defeated Park Hill South 38-7
The Titans have everything rolling in the first two weeks — the passing game, the running game and a stout defense.
2. Blue Springs (1-1, 0-0)
Last week: lost to Fort Osage 35-21
For the first time since Sept. 14, 2012, the Wildcats lost a football game. But there's plenty of time to rebound from it.
3. Lee's Summit (2-0, 0-0)
Last week: defeated Hickman 41-17
A slow start gave way to a strong finish. Lee's Summit has scored 122 points in two weeks.
4. Raymore-Peculiar (1-1, 0-0)
Last week: lost to Staley 18-17
The Panthers led 17-12 before play was suspended Friday, then watched Staley pull out an one-point win on Saturday.

6. Lee's Summit North (0-2, 0-0)

Despite a revamped offensive playbook, the Broncos have struggled to move the ball this season.
SUBURBAN RED CONFERENCE
1. Park Hill (2-0, 0-0)

The Trojans just might be contenders in Class 5 this season. That's two blowout victories against two quality opponents.
2. Park Hill South (1-1, 0-0)
Last week: lost to Lee's Summit West 38-7
Shaefer Schuetz has thrown three touchdowns in two weeks, but the Panthers aren't doing much else offensively.
3. Liberty (0-2, 0-0)
Last week: lost to Kearney 42-7
The Blue Jays were optimistic heading into the season, but they've been outscored 86-21 in two weeks.
4. St. Joseph Central (0-2, 0-0)
Last week: lost to Platte County 29-22
Running back Israel Smith has shown impressive flashes, but the Indians need more from their passing game.

6. Truman (0-2, 0-0)
Last week: lost to Raytown South 32-7
The Patriots are 0-2, but it's clear they've improved. A trip to St. Joseph Central may be a chance to get in the win column.
SUBURBAN WHITE CONFERENCE

Last week: defeated Blue Springs 35-21
The Indians picked up arguably the biggest regular-season victory in school history with an upset of Blue Springs.
2. Liberty North (2-0, 1-0)

The defense has been downright nasty. Mitchell Miller had three interceptions Friday.
3. Staley (1-1, 0-0)
Last week: defeated Raymore-Peculiar 18-17
After Friday's game was suspended with the Falcons trailing 17-12, Beau Baker ran for a game-winning score Saturday.

That's more like it. Raytown rebounded from a tough opening-night loss by rushing for more than 300 yards.

Last week: defeated Grandview 41-34
The Northman notched the first victory of the Kevin Keeton era behind five touchdowns from Marquis Caldwell.

Last week: defeated Truman 32-7
The next three weeks will be a key stretch for the Cardinals, who bounced back nicely from an opening-week loss.

The Pirates have shown significant strides after winning only seven games over the past four seasons combined.
