Beat Lawrence, 48-26; Friday at Shawnee Mission West
The Lancers are averaging 50.3 points a game this season, and have not been touched in the Sunflower League.

2. Lawrence Free State (5-0, 5-2)
Beat Olathe East, 28-14; Friday vs. Lawrence
Two of the top teams in the Sunflower League will square off this week, when Lawrence Free State hosts Lawrence Friday.
3. Lawrence (4-1, 5-2)
Lost to Shawnee Mission East, 48-26; Friday at Lawrence Free State
Quarterback Dante Jackson went down in the second quarter of Friday’s game against Shawnee Mission East, and Lawrence could not keep up offensively after that.
4. Shawnee Mission West (4-1, 5-2)
Beat Shawnee Mission South, 42-14; Friday vs. Shawnee Mission East
Shawnee Mission West continues to put a dynamic offense on the field; four different players scored rushing touchdowns in Friday’s blowout win.
5. Shawnee Mission North (2-3, 4-3)
Beat Shawnee Mission Northwest, 61-38; Friday vs. Olathe South
After getting destroyed by Shawnee Mission East, Shawnee Mission North has responded with two straight double-digit wins this month.
6. Olathe North (2-3, 2-5)
Beat Olathe Northwest, 17-14; Friday vs. Shawnee Mission Northwest
A Riley Alderman field goal was the difference for Olathe North last week, after heading into the fourth quarter tied 14-14 with district rival Olathe Northwest.
7. Olathe Northwest (2-3, 2-5)
Lost to Olathe North, 17-14; Friday vs. Shawnee Mission South
Easton Crupper tossed a couple of touchdown passes, but Olathe Northwest couldn’t score in the fourth quarter, leading to its third Sunflower loss.
8. Olathe East (2-3, 2-5)
Lost to Lawrence Free State, 28-14; Friday at Leavenworth
Keeping with the pattern of two-win Olathe teams, Olathe East couldn’t hold on with Lawrence Free State last week.
9. Olathe South (2-4, 2-5)
Beat Leavenworth, 44-7; Friday at Shawnee Mission North
After two straight losses in the previous weeks, Olathe South got out some frustration with a drubbing of visiting Leavenworth last week.
10. Leavenworth (1-5, 1-6)
Lost to Olathe South, 44-7; Friday vs. Olathe East
A week after putting up 30 points, Leavenworth’s offense came out flat last week, managing only one touchdown against Olathe South.
11. Shawnee Mission Northwest (1-4, 1-6)
Lost to Shawnee Mission North, 61-38; Friday at Olathe North
Shawnee Mission Northwest has been scoring points – they’re averaging 31 per game the last three weeks – but has had trouble stopping anyone. SM Northwest allowed 61 points from district rival SM North last week.
12. Shawnee Mission South (0-5, 0-7)
Lost to Shawnee Mission West, 42-14; Friday at Olathe Northwest
Still without a win, Shawnee Mission South used two Jeremy Kucera touchdown runs to get on the board last week.
1. De Soto (4-1, 6-1)
Beat Spring Hill, 14-13; Friday vs. Bishop Miege
Despite losing starting quarterback Bryce Mohl to an injury in the first quarter, De Soto rallied from a 13-7 deficit in a low-scoring affair.
2. Spring Hill (4-1, 4-3)
Lost to De Soto, 14-13; Friday vs. Eudora
Spring Hill took a 13-7 lead, but got stopped offensively on eight straight possessions. It was Spring Hill’s first league loss this season.
3. Maranatha/Immaculata (0-5, 2-5)
Beat Atchison County, 60-44; Friday at Maur Hill
Senior running back Micah Webb pulled his team to a second straight victory, with 23 carries for 339 yards, three touchdowns and a successful two-point conversion.
