Brenneman took third place out of 372 runners at the Missouri Southern Stampede on Saturday, running the 5K distance in 15 minutes, 26.70 seconds. That’s the fastest time run by a Kansas high schooler this year, and it also served as Brenneman’s personal record for that distance.
