Four golfers with ties to area colleges will compete in this year’s Web.com Tour Digital Ally Open, which runs Thursday-Sunday at Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate in Overland Park.

▪ Peter Malnati: age 28; University of Missouri graduate; currently ranked second on Tour with earnings $268,499 in 16 events this season; one Tour victory this season.

▪ Ryan Spears: age 29; Wichita State graduate; ranked 37th with earnings of $99,391 in 17 events this season; no victories.

▪ Aaron Watkins: age 33; Kansas State graduate; ranked 57th with earnings of $75,799 in 14 events, no victories.

▪ Zechariah Potter: 28; Wichita State graduate; born in Cheney, Kan.; playing his first Web.com Tour event this year on a sponsor’s exemption.

Tournament info

▪ Tickets: $25 for a weekly pass, or $10 daily Thursday to Sunday. Admission is free for everyone Wednesday and for kids 14 and under all week.

▪ The course: LionsGate is located at 143rd and Dearborn streets. General parking and a free shuttle to the course are available at the Blue Valley Recreation softball and baseball complex at 137th and Antioch. More details and information are available at DigitalAllyOpen.org.

Tournament schedule

▪ Wednesday: 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. pro-ams

▪ Thursday: First round, gates open at 7 a.m.

▪ Friday: Second round, gates open at 7 a.m.; Small Business Day

▪ Saturday: Third round, gates open at 7 a.m.

▪ Sunday: Final round, gates open at 7 a.m.
