Walsworth, Troutman ousted from USGA Amateur Four-Ball
The run by Don Walsworth and Jon Troutman at the United States Golf Associaton’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship ended Tuesday.
Walsworth, who is from Leawood, and Troutman, of Spring Hill, lost to second-seeded Austin Connelly and Sam Burns 3 and 1 in the round of 16 at The Olympic Club in San Francisco.
After a slow start, Walsworth and Troutman evened the match by winning the fifth and eighth holes. Connelly and Burns then took command by winning the next three holes.
