Chase Hanna finished tied for second in this weekend’s Southwestern Amateur in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Hanna, who finished his collegiate golf career this spring at Kansas, shot a 1-under 69 on Saturday and ended up at 10-under 270 for the tournament. That put him even with Sean Carlon and Blake Heathcoat, but 4 strokes back of the winner, Jino Sohn.

Hanna, who played in high school at Shawnee Mission East, was the leader after the second round and started Saturday’s final round in second place, 1 stroke behind Sohn.

Sohn shot a 4-under 66 in the final round to seal the victory.
