From KC barbecue to empanadas, these are the 20 food stalls at FIFA Fan Fest

When tens of thousands of visitors head to the FIFA Fan Festival in Kansas City during the World Cup, they’re in for a local lineup of food that includes KC staples, global cuisines and sweet treats to keep them satiated.

Organizers announced the food vendors that would be available at the site of the Fan Festival ahead of its opening date on June 11, the kickoff for this year’s World Cup. The food will be located near the KC Heart Gateway structure at the festival, which is held on the grounds of the National World War I Museum and Memorial.

There are 20 confirmed food businesses taking part in the Fan Festival, available every day the free event is open to the public. The Fan Festival runs June 11-16, June 19-21, June 24-27, July 3-5 and July 9-11.

All vendors are local to the Kansas City area or have storefronts in KC. The operators represent a variety of cuisines, including KC barbecue, fried chicken sandwiches, pizza, empanadas and ice cream.

  • Guy’s Deli
  • 1889 Pizza Napoletana
  • Lulu’s Thai Noodle Shop
  • Scimeca’s Italian Sausage
  • Taco Naco
  • Argentina Inc. Empanadas
  • Donutology
  • Mocha Point Coffee
  • Betty Rae’s Ice Cream

Organizers said they are finalizing food options in the ticketed premium garden and legacy lounge areas. There are bars available on festival grounds for general admission guests, according to the Fan Fest website.
